Course Aim Hope that through systematic training, teaching skills have cultivated a group of Wing Chun instructor and qualified.
Course Content Principles and application of Wing Chun, teaching methods, communication skills, competition rules, liability and classroom/general first aid.
Eligibility Over 18 years of age with 5 years Wing Chun experience (accomplished in ‘Siu Nim Tao’, ‘Chum Kiu’, ‘Biu Tze’ and the entire set of wooden dummy);
A Hong Kong Wing Chun Union member
Time Generally on Saturdays 14:00 to 22:00 (8 hours in total)
Venue 20/F, Kam Fung Commercial Building, 2-4 Tin Lok Lane, Wan Chai
Fee Tuition fee HK$900 (includes a Union T-shirt) Examination fee HK$200. An examination pass will receive an instructor’s level one certificate valid for 3 years. In case of failure, HK$150 re-examination fee is required within one month of the examination date. If re-examination results in failure, attendance of the course is required before retaking the examination.
Examination content Written test (multiple choice) and technique testing, both parts must be passed simultaneously to obtain a certificate

Level 2 Instructors
 
Course Aims Through systematic training cultivate a group of Wing Chun instructors able to coach independently.
Course Content Teaching methods, communication skills, instructor’s responsibility, competition rules and procedures, offensive and defensive strategies, psychology for athletes, upgrading students’ stamina, general first aid and related legal knowledge.
Eligibility Already completed and obtained the certificate in Level One Instructor course held by the Union or obtained from a course recognized by the Union; or 15+ years Wing Chun experience (with 10+ years experience as an instructor); and studied all Wing Chun sequences and weapons(Six and Half Point Pole; Man Character Eight Slashin); and selected by the Union committee members.

Time 2pm – 8pm (Total of 12 hours) (Saturday and Sunday)
Venue 20/F, Kam Fung Commercial Building, 2-4 Tin Lok Lane, Wan Chai
Fee Tuition fee HK$1200 (includes a Union T-shirt), examination fee HK$300. An examination pass will receive an instructors level two certificate valid for 3 years. In case of failure, HK$200 re-examination fee is required within one month of the examination date. If re-examination results in failure, attendance of the course is required before re- taking the examination.
Examination content Written test (multiple choice) and technique testing, both parts must be passed simultaneously to obtain a certificate.

#Instructor certificate is subject to renewal every 3 years with a fee of HK$300. Certificate holder cannot apply for the renewal 1 year after the expiry. He/She is required to retake the instructor class for the certification. (The union reserves the right to award or deny the application)

#For the administrative convenience, the expiration date of all application is defined on the same day. Every six months as a new apllication period, for example: Renew in January 2015, the expiry date will be 31 December 2017, cost HK $ 300. Details as following:

 2.    Mailing

Please submit your application form with a crossed cheque (Hong Kong bank cheque only), payable to "Hong Kong Wing Chun Union Limited." and send to Unit Nos. 3011B-3012, 30/F, West Tower Shun Tak Centre, Nos. 168-200 Connaught Road Central, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. Furthermore, please mark down your name and contact number at the back. Post-dated cheques or cash are not accepted by mailing.

 3.    In person

Applicant is required to bring along his application form with cash (no exchange service) to the Union's office in person during the office hours. If the applicant fails to submit in person, his agent has to show his ID card photocopy in order to verify the information.
