Basic Information

• Date: 8 – 9 October 2016 (Sat & Sun)
• Registration Time: 8 October 2016 after 5:00pm
• Registration Place: To be informed
• Competition Venue: Macpherson Stadium, 38 Nelson Street, Mongkok, Kowloon, Hong Kong (3 minutes walking distance from Exit E2 of Mongkok MTR Station)

Seating capacity: 1,483 people. See pictures attached

• Competition Time: 9 October 2016 9:00am – 6:00pm (To be adjusted according to the event progress)
• Ticket Fee: HKD50 / USD 7 / RMB 43 per person

 

Participating Qualification, Number of Athletes & Admission Fee

• Participant must have these following documents:

1. Passport holders represented by country or region, or other legal documents
2. Medical certificate within 20 days before competition day (Full contact competition applicable)
3. Personal insurance (Full contact competition applicable)

 

• Number of Athletes

1. Taolu (Forms): Maximum no. of athletes is 160 circa.
2. Traditional Chi Sao (Chuen Tong Chi Sao): Maximum no. of athletes is 100 circa.
3. Full Contact (Free Fight): Maximum no. of athletes is 60 circa.

 

• Application Fee

1. Taolu (Forms): HKD 240 / USD 31 / RMB 195 per item
2. Traditional Chi Sao (Chuen Tong Chi Sao): HKD 480 / USD 62 /RMB 388 per person
3. Dui Kong Choi (Free Fight): HKD 680 / USD 88 / RMB 550 per person

 

• Registration

The application form should be submitted with the bank slip,  safety declaration and copy of passport or other legal identity documents before 15 Sep 2016. Taolu (Forms):

• Regardless of bodyweight and set Children, Teenagers and Adults
• 10 or more people in a team
• Women & Men will be separated into different group of competition for Adults with Siu Nim Tao, Chum Kiu, Biu Tze and Six Point & half pole, Pak Charm Do(Double Knife)
• Mixed genders for Children & Teenagers with Siu Nim Tao, Chum Kiu and Biu Tze

 

Traditional Chi Sao:

• Set Adults and Senior (Women & Men)
• Participants will be separated into seven group of knockout competition for Adults (Women & Men subgroups):

1. 50Kg (> 50Kg - ≤ 54.9Kg)
2. 55Kg (> 55Kg - ≤ 59.9Kg)
3. 60Kg (> 60Kg - ≤ 64.9Kg)
4. 65Kg (> 65Kg - ≤ 69.9Kg)
5. 70Kg (> 70Kg - ≤ 74.9Kg)
6. 75Kg (> 75Kg - ≤ 79.9Kg)
7. 80Kg (≥ 80Kg)

• Size of competition area: 1.6M X 1.6M
• No protection equipments (helmet, guard, elbow protector, shinpad, boxing glove)
• We accept women apply 50kg class if weight is less than 50kg.
• It is permissible to substitute a participant who fails to meet his/her Weight Category at the General Weigh-In. In that case, the participant can only participate in a higher Weight Category.

 

Full Contact:

• Participants will be separated into seven group of knockout competition for Adults (Women & Men subgroups):

Prize Award:

1. Taolu: 1 Gold, 1 Silver & 1 Bronze medals & certificates for each categories (No cash prize)
2. Traditional Chi Sao: 1 Gold, 1 Silver & 2 Bronze medals & certificates for each categories, plus cash prize listed in below table
3. Full Contact: 1 Gold, 1 Silver & 2 Bronze medals & certificates for each categories, plus cash prize listed in below table
4. Certificate of Excellence will be issued to those who get the place from 4^th

Arrangement for the Coach & Assistant of Athletes

 

The allowed no. of staffs (including coach & assistant) to enter into the venue for each participant:

1. Taolu: 1 Staff
2. Traditional Chi Sao: 1 Staff
3. Full Contact: 4 Staffs

Other staff or audience needs to buy ticket in order to enter into the venue.

Name & photo needs to be provided  with application form  to the Organizer for issuing Staff Admission Permit.
